Overview

Here is some recent feedback from teachers and parents of the young people we have worked with:

Just wanted to say thank you for allowing the opportunity for our students at the Bourne Academy perform. They had such a wonderful day at the theatre and are buzzing from the experience. As for us teachers it was very stress free so we will be returning next year to do the event. I forgot to
give you the permission slips for photographs all my students parents agree to have photo and film taken."

Francesca Martin, Bourne Academy School

The Champloo performance was very inspiring and led to a lot of discussion with the children about what the interpretation could mean. It was good for the boys to see that dance is a viable option for boys too."

Teacher, St. Luke’s Primary School

I think these events are really important for young people. It gives them the opportunity to see what other groups the same age are doing, and opens their eyes to alternative styles and practices. I think it also encourages a sense of aspiring to work harder as they realise there are people of the same age who are as good as them (or better)! Most of all I was really impressed by the incredibly high standard of the work being shown, and the commitment, talent and energy of the young people involved.

Thank you for inviting us, and thank you for all your work."

Rohanna Eade (Devon Youth Dance Company)

Thank you so much for organising a wonderful weekend at U.Dance. My students had an absolutely brilliant time and were buzzing on the way back home. The workshops were fantastic, they made many new friends and loved performing of course. I personally really loved the support each group
gave each other. It was wonderful to witness."

Nikki Northover, Bridport Youth Dance

My daughter loved the workshop and I know that if any other sessions were available for all the holidays, she would be booked into them all!!"

Parent, Kids Summer School

My daughter had a wonderful time at Pavilion summer camp and they would be delighted to do the same again.

I thought as a parent the program was well managed and the children were motivated and wanted to continue. Please keep me informed, I would love to support your program and my daughter would recommend her friends I am sure!"
